The Center Stage School of Music opened its doors to students across India, in 1991.

Our dedicated and talented staff, all working musicians themselves, are led from the front by the ever cheerful, dynamic and talented Mr. Augustine Paul ( A Mus.TCL),

The school offers courses in practical musicianship, theory of music and the recently added – Computer based music production course “Producing music with Reason.

The main music studio is equipped with a Steinway baby grand piano, Nier upright Piano and Viscount Digital Piano, offering students a choice of instruments rarely available in any other school. The Keyboard studio is equipped with several 61 key, Yamaha portakeyboards. The Guitar labs offer both electric and acoustic guitar courses for beginners to pros.

A bi-monthly Video screening followed by a group discussion, features the lives of legendary and contemporary composers and their works.

The theory of music classes are growing in popularity and several currant cinemacomposers, musicians, singers and pop stars feature on our rolls.

Students may also opt for taking the popular International Board examinations conducted by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, London or the Trinity School of Music, London.

Producing Music with Reason is a 21 hour certificate course spread over two months that offers anyone the opportunity to learn how to produce music on a home computer. Music and computer knowledge is optional. This amazing course is designed by world renowned software giants Propellerheads, Sweden and is based on their revolutionary software Reason. Reason is widely used by professionals around the world and is considered the Industrys most popular music composing software. CenterStage School of Music organizes an annual students showcase a performance held at a public concert hall and open to all, which features our talented students in concert.

The proprietor Sudhin Prabhakar is presently the honorary local representative of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, London, the largest music examination board in the world.
