Traktor MX2 is a next-generation 2-channel DJ controller designed for emerging

version of Traktor Pro 4 software, giving you hands-on control of beatmatching, looping, 

effects, and stem separation. Mix with jog wheels, faders, EQ, and 16 RGB pads offering

studio-grade effects, Mixer FX, and the Pattern Player can be controlled directly from

between four physical modes for some of Traktor's best features: 

Hotcue mode 

Hotcues are your launchpad – add drops, trigger breakdowns, or rewind to that 

peak moment in an instant. They let you jump to key points in a track so you 

can bring your vision to life and take the crowd on a journey.   

Stem mode 

Traktor Pro 4ʼs stem separation lets you precisely isolate and split tracks into 

drums, bass, instruments, and vocals. MX2ʼs stem mode means you can mix and 

edit them on the fly. Blend parts from tracks you know to create tracks you didnʼt – 

all in the heat of the moment. On the MX2, stems become instruments: mute, 

unmute, filter out, and push volumes to sculpt your sound. 

Step sequencer mode 

Go even deeper with Traktorʼs 16 drum kits. This mode transforms the 16 pads into 

a step sequencer that you can program live to layer custom grooves into your set. 

Bend rhythm to inject more energy and move the floor.  

Flux loops mode  

Keep your track going or build energy before a drop. The pads make it easy to 

create loops without interrupting the track flow and to jump right back to where 

you left off.
