Mastering Academy meets SPL

Exciting news! On September 27, 2023, the Mastering Academy will host an exclusive, but free-of-charge online event showcasing the centerpieces of the SPL Mastering series.

This event will be highly interactive, and you will have the opportunity to see Mastering Academy’s CEO, Friedemann Tischmeyer (Alan Parsons, Steely Dan) and Mastering Coach, Farzad “Farzi” Rahnavard (Cro, Shindy, Mike Singer, Shirin David), mastering a song from scratch using a hybrid approach (combining hardware and software) built around SPL's DMC, Hermes, and Gemini.

SPL Managing Partner Bastian Neu and SPL VP Communications Sascha Flocken will also join the event live. This is the perfect opportunity to ask any questions you've ever had about SPL Mastering gear.

But that’s not all!

What is Gemini?

The SPL Gemini Mastering M/S Processor is the first mid/side processor in 120V technology. In mastering, M/S processing is often the best way to get targeted access to individual elements of a mix.

What is a Mixing Elevator?

A “Mixing Elevator” is a one-on-one workshop in mixing, which lifts your mixing skills up to the next level. On top of that you will also get a mastering of your track.
